Artwork Description
Under the theme “Manifesting Korean Characteristics,” Guiyoung Lee visualizes the image of waterfalls, long associated with the vitality and dynamism of this land, as a flow of spiritual energy. At the same time, through transparent glass space, she presents the lives of contemporary people in the internet age as a stage for human existence. In doing so, she explores how human identity and the conditions of contemporary life might come into harmony even amid rapid change.
